Xiaomi is holding event today where it is going to launch 3 more devices. Although the official sources have not named these smartphones but one of them is a flagship.
There are too many news and leaks on the media about the Xiaomi’s activity today and it is more or less confirmed that Xiaomi is going to launch at least two handsets. One is Xiaomi Mi5 a flagship that is successor to Mi4 last year. Xiaomi Mi5 is coming with display size which is not confirmed but will be between 5.2 inches to 5.5 inches, 2.5D display and QHD. 2.5D display indicates curved at the edges. It is also predicted that the handset also has the capacity of 3 GB RAM along with two on board memory options 16GB and 64GB. It will have Snapdragon 805 system on chip and expectedly has 20.7 mega pixel rear camera but according to An Tu Tu benchmark the smartphone has Snapdragon 801 processer instead of Snapdragon 805 and has 2 GB RAM and 13 mega pixel camera.
At the same time Xiaomi will be launching Redmi Note 2 on this event which is successor to Redmi Note 4G in last year and is coming with some improvements. Redmi Note 2 will has 5.7 inches display with 1080 pixels resolution and has 1.5GHz 64 bit Octa Core processor with Snapdragon 615system on chip and Adreno 306 GPU. The device is featured with 2 GB RAM along with the two memory options 16 GB and 32 GB and has 13 mega pixel rear camera with dual LED and dual tone and has 5 mega pixel front facing camera for taking better selfies and energized with 3600mAh battery.
Additionally the Xiaomi will launch one more handset beside Mi5 and Redmi Note 2. The mobile known as Mi 5 Plus. Some images of the device leaked and confirmed the curved edges, slim bezels and large screen of the handset.
For knowing the price and release date of the devices we need to wait until the event starts and the handsets will take the official place.
