Initially, we heard that Xiaomi is busy in the planning of their 5th birthday and they scheduled some new devices to be launched on the occasion of their birthday celebration. We all know that the Xiaomi is the “Apple of China”.
Anyway on their birthday occasion Xiaomi present Redmi 2A. A cheapest version of previously launched Redmi 2 which was standing in the category of mid range handsets of Xiaomi. This new smartphone is the low range device and carry the price tag of $96 which is really amazing because as we know the handset is belonged to the Xiaomi tribe so its mean that the mobile have some not very high but reasonable features.
This is the Android Phone and runs Android operating system. The handset is featured with 1.5GHz quad-core Leadcore L1860C chipset, paired with Mali T628MP2 GPU takes care of graphics and has 1GB of RAM. The screen size of the smartphone is 4.7 inches having 720 pixels resolution. The handset has 8 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front-facing camera for the selfies and energized by the 2200mAh battery. The notable thing is the handset is LTE capable and provides rapid charging.
The Redmi 2A was announced by the company but will be available on 8th April. It is also expected that the device will be available in specific regions, but the list of the regions is still not known for knowing the specific region we need to wait until the list will not be disclosed.
