At the CES press conference, ZTE added two entry level phones in its US smartphone range. With an abundant of high quality mobiles options newly launched ZTE Avid Plus and ZTE Grand X 3 probably won’t impress users, but both mobiles are coming at attractive off-contract prices.
ZTE is basically lesser known Android mobile manufacturer. The company took benefit from CES and launched entry level mobiles name Grand X3 and ZTE Avid Plus in US. Both mobiles are budget friendly so everyone can enjoy smartphone at low rates.
The Grand X 3 features with 5.5 inch display with 720p resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 210 and 1.3GHz quad-core CPU. Whereas, the devices comes with 16GB internal memory, expandable via MicroSD and 2GB RAM. It has 8MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera. The handset runs Android 5.1 lollipop. Grand X3 packs 3080 mAh removable battery. User also get a USB Type-C port, it is a feature that usually kept for high end smartphones.
Users can purchase ZTE Grand X 3 for $130 without any carrier contract on Cricket Wireless in USA.
ZTE Avid Plus is even more dense, will come with a 5 inch FWVGA LCD and 854x480px resolution. The mobile is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core CPU of anonymous manner, while we sturdily expect it is of the archaic Cortex-A7 variety. 8GB internal memory, expandable via MicroSD and 1GB of RAM. Avid Plus has a 2MP front camera and 5MP back camera. The device will also run Android 5.1 lollipop version similar to Grand X 3. The device embraces 2300 mAh battery. In-spite of so many metallic body mobile options available in the market, the company decided to pack the device in a plastic body. Still device looks nice.
The company hasn’t customized this device with various features, but still it holds great basic features that will be pretty impressive for a user. If you are looking for an entry level smartphone with some decent functionality, then ZTE Avid is right choice for you.
People can buy ZTE Avid Plus for $115 off-contract at T-Mobile on 20 January soon after MetroPCS.
