The Galaxy On8 will be available for sale via Flipkart on its upcoming event that is schedules for Oct 2 –Oct 6. Flipkart also teased about Galaxy On smartphone which comes with Super AMOLED full HD display. The teaser hints that the company will launch Galaxy On 8. Probably, the Galaxy On 8 will be the first smartphone to feature AMOLED Display.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.It will have 3GB or RAM and 32GB native storage expandable via MicroSD card. There is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The device supports a fingerprint scanner which is embedded on its home button. The device is expected to come with USD 299 to USD 399 price tag.
Its predecessor Galaxy On7 was launched in China a couple of months ago. The Galaxy On7 packs a 5.5 inches device with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, has 32 GB, 3 GB RAM. Coming towards camera section, the smartphone has 13MP main camera and 8MP front camera. The device is powered by a 3300 mAh battery pack.
