Chinese firm Xiaomi is offering two new budget devices such as Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime, both smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Mi.com today in India. The sale was started at 12 pm and Xiaomi is not offering a flash sale on these smartphones. It means users don’t have to register early to buy these devices. The stock is limited, so units may run out rapidly.
The company says that, all units of Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are manufactured in India. According to Xiaomi, the first sale of Redmi 3S Prime went over 90,000 units in only eight minutes, so this time company is expecting the same response.
There are a few similarities and differences in both devices such as Redmi 3S comes with 16GB storage and 2GB of RAM but no fingerprint scanner. While the Prime version has 3GB of RAM and 32GB GB storage with fingerprint sensor. The storage of both devices is expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card. The impressive feature of both devices is that they have a 4100 mAh battery which lasts for two days easily with heavy usage such as typing articles, web browsing, and gaming.
The Redmi 3S comes with USD 104 (about INR 6,999) price tag, whilst the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime is available for USD 134 (approximately INR 8999). Both smartphones support 4G and available in silver, gold and gray color options.
