Huawei Honor Note 8-Gorgeous Device with Plenty of Power under the Hood

After Huawei P9 and Huawei Mate 8 the company’s Honor brand has launched another smartphone Honor Note 8 in China. Huawei is one of the leading Chinese mobile manufacturers to enjoy a rise in fame outside its home country. Huawei offers quality handsets with the latest specifications and features. The company is competing Apple and Samsung, it has increased its share in the mobile market over the years, and in Q2 2016 it rooted itself as third largest mobile maker worldwide.

Huawei Honor Note 8 Launch Date and Price

The Huawei Honor Note 8 has officially launched in China and it is available for purchase from August 2. The Huawei Note 8 32GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly USD $346), the 64GB variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately USD $376), and the 128GB variant is priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly USD $421). Initially the device is launched in China, at the moment there is no official word about the device launch outside of China, but we expect to see the device in all those markets where Huawei Honor 7 was positioned. Huawei Honor Note 8 Design

At first glance the design of the Huawei Mate 8 is trendy and chic; it looks decent and feels comfortable in the hands. It is compact as compared to other smartphones in the Huawei line-up. The Honor 8 embraces a metal body with curved edges on the backside. The smartphone is lightweight, it weights 219 g and measures 178.8x90.9x7.18mm so it feels just accurate in the hands. It comes in Gold, Silver and Grey color options all colors give premium look.

The Honor 8 is designed to excel in the photography section by incorporating a 13MP rear camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.0, autofocus, OIS, and dual-LED. The device delivers high quality images with true and bright colors, even in low light environment. The camera captures comprehensive information of the panorama you are shooting and permits users to redeploy on substance after you take a shot. To offer detailed and crisp images the camera captures more light. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 sensor for selfies as well.

The Honor 8 packs bigger screen and better resolution than its predecessor Huawei Honor 7, the smartphone has 6.6 inches full HD Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, while Huawei Honor 7 has a 6.0 inches screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.

The Huawei Honor 8 is a gorgeous device which comes with plenty of power under the hood. The device is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 950 processor, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based EMUI 4.1 on top. The Emotion UI 4.1 is a quite improved than the previous Huawei interfaces, but it's still needs to fix some bugs. The Huawei Honor 8 comes with the latest processor and its noticeable upgrade over Huawei Honor 7 processor HiSilicon Kirin 925. The hybrid dual SIM supported device comes 32/64/128 GB native storage options with 4 GB RAM; a MicroSD can be used to expand storage up to 128GB.

The Huawei Honor 7 came in two variants such as 16 GB native storage with 2 GB RAM, and 32 GB internal storage with 3 GB RAM. The latest device supports Type-C 1.0 reversible connectors, USB On-The-Go and various other connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot. There’s a fast fingerprint scanner on the back side of the device which unlocks smartphon rapidly.

The Huawei Honor 8 gets power with a non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery which is bigger than its predecessor’s battery 4100. The battery improvement is obvious because the latest device comes with bigger display that needs more power as compared to the last one.
