Their products are equally well known and we can really find a difficult to comment one in find defects in the other. They are equally good, equally the mark of quality and both excel each other in one way or the other. The aim of this comparative study is not to give superiority to one over the other. Both the handsets have the unique features. They have yet not been revealed and are yet in the news. Galaxy Note 4 is said to be a well designed device in metal case and leather back cover instead of plastic. iPhone 6 is also in metallic lining on its edges. Both the devices do not use plastic body; this is an advancement over the previous trends. We have the dimensions for the iPhone 6 only and they are 137.5 x 67 x 7 mm and it carries 113 grams weight which is quite reasonable for this metal made giant handset. We cannot compare it with Galaxy Note 4 because the dimensions are not available with us.
iPhone 6 has two different sizes: 4.7 inch screen and the other with 5.5 inch screen. Both are made of Sapphire glass with 960 x 1704 pixels resolution. It has bright colors and gives good display. Galaxy note 4 is made up with Samsung’s own trendy screen known as Super AMOLED. The screen size is 5.7 inches and it has 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The sapphire glass has its own qualities where as Super AMOLED has proved its superiority in other aspects. Both are being used successfully and users find no complain with any. They both give an elegant look and prefect protection to the handsets.
Apple is innovator and designer of its own operating system known as iOS and uses the latest version of iOS known as 8 in their upcoming giant. The Apple designed software is running successfully and its being continually updated and used in their new devices. Apple iPhone 6 runs iOS 8 as a default operating system. The both handsets have a great combination of hardware. iPhone 6 runs 2 GHz Dual core processor with the smart combination of A8 chipset, for common understanding, it is equal to 8 billion transistors and the users can imagine the speed. There is no GPU found in the handset. This again is the product of Apple itself. It has 2 GB powerful RAM and 4 options in on board memory, 16/32/64/128 GB but there is one lacking found in iPhone 6 there is no card slot present in the handset for increasing the in-built memory. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a two processor option Model No. N910c will come with Octa Coer and Rest of the Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait. There is no doubt that Octa Core gives the super fast speed to the handset/ device but it does not mean that Apple’s A8 is low in working. They both are efficient in their capacity. The Galaxy Note 4 has a two chipset for specify model number of the Note 4 Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (SM-N910S) and the other is Exynos 5433 (SM-N910C). It is powered with 2 GB RAM and will be available in multiple storage options like 16/32/64/128 GB and if users want to increase the memory of the NOTE they can insert the external memory card. Card slot present in the Note 4. There is a GPU found in the handset known as Adreno 420 (SM-N910S), Mali-T760 (SM-N910C) again the selection and the placement of the GPU is according to the specific model number of the NOTE 4. This way note 4 carries upper hand over Apple iPhone 6.
Apple iPhone 6 has a 13 mega pixel rear and 2 mega pixel front facing camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels density, LED Flash and autofocus feature. 13 mega pixel camera is good with stated above pixels resolution, gives the fine images to the users in the darker environment as well as in the bright.
Galaxy Note 4 has a 16 mega pixel back and 2 mega pixel front camera with 3456 x 4608 pixels, optical image stabilization, autofocus and dual-LED flash. Samsung Galaxy Note carries better camera features and pixel density in comparison with iPhone 6. Galaxy Note 4 has a high pixel rear camera as 16 mega pixel and users can get the super fine quality with this smart camera.
Apple iPhone 6 is powered with Non-removable Li-Po ~ 1850 mAh battery. The backup time of the battery is not known but it is expected that handset provides the sufficient backup time to the handset for standby as well as talk time. The battery provided to the handset is non removable. If the battery is affected, the whole set needs to be replaced.
Samsung galaxy note 4 is powered by sufficiently strong battery but exact specification is not known. However in keeping with the desired function of the Note, battery should be reasonably powerful.
iPhone 6 will be available in Space Gray, White/Silver and Gold colors. It is expected to come in the market somewhere in September with the estimated price of $800. Yes the handset is bit costly but Apple lovers don’t bother to pay this cost for the upgraded and well balanced Apple iPhone 6.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be clad in various colors and users will have multiple choices on this account. The Samsung is probably working on the strategy to meet the competition and win the market against its competitor Apple iPhone 6. The Galaxy Note 4 also expected to make the appearance in 15th September and the estimated price is same as $800.
Though there are many equals in both the giants’ handsets and yet there are some differences too. Samsung galaxy note 4 seems to have more plus points. Apple has non removable battery whereas Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have removable battery. The powerful Octa Core processor in the Note gives it faster speed to the handset but Apple also placed the same speed processor known as A8 in the handset. There is one exclusively plus point in Galaxy Note 4 that it has retina scanner which is missing from iPhone 6 but Apple placed finger print scanner in the iPhone 6 which may also personalize the device from the others.
Both the handsets are specimen of technology and an effort to reach perfection and satisfaction of inquisitiveness of human mind which is ever in pursuit of better and near to perfection if not perfect.
