HTC has always revealed the complete series of the handsets consist of high, mid and low rang devices. HTC introduced the handset named “HTC DESIRE 610” in a mobile world conference held at Barcelona. Before this handset HTC follows their tradition and launched the other handsets in the series of Desire.

HTC Desire 610 wipes away the gap between the high range One Mini 2 and mid range Desire 601. According to the specifications and price the handset stands in a low range device category. Specifications are not so high and the price is also affordable by everyone. Though the handset is not much powerful to give the challenge to the other high end devices, but the handset has enough features to attract the users towards the handset. Design and Display

Design and Display Most of the HTC handsets follow the trendy look of the HTC. HTC Desire 610 is much similar with the previously launched HTC Desire handsets. The handset has a same BoomSound speaker placed below on the screen. The phone is economical by worth and elegant in design. The HTC Desire 610 is made up with the shiny plastic; instead of metal, but that does not mean the handset give the cheap look. Company only reduces the production cost, but, did not compromise with the quality and decent look of the handset because of the plastic the handset is less in weight.

The handset weighs 143.5 Grams and by dimension handset measures 143.1 x 70.5 x 9.6 mm which mean the handset don’t have the thick bezels. The handset display measures 4.7 inches with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The handset display has an enough working area with the balance; pixel density makes the handset prefect symbol of technology.

Software and user interface

HTC Desire 610 runs Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC own Sense 6 interfaces. The handset runs latest version of Android. The operating system and user interface, packed with all the latest features. HTC user interface offers minimum customization option and the interface also does include BlinkFeed on the home screen of the handset. The operating system and user interface both are light in weight and consume the less battery power and enhance the performance of the handset.

 Processor and Memory

HTC Desire 610 is powered with 1.2GHz a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The processor speed considers the fast speed. Though the handset speed is not very fast, but the handset behaves well. The same processor and chipset combination also found in Motorola Moto G. 1GB RAM along with 8GB memory is offered by the company. The on board memory can be increased up to 128 GB easily via microSD card. These are significant mid-range specifications found in the mid range phone which make the perfect handset for the daily usage.

Users really don't have any grievance about the camera on the Desire 610. The rear camera based on 8 mega pixels with a BSI sensor for better low-light performance in dim light conditions. The camera provides good performance and gives the finest quality images to the users. The front camera is anticipated to be used for selfies and video calls. The handset has a 1.3 megapixel secondary camera with BSI sensor.

In the account of the battery the handset disappoints the users. First of all the handset is energized with Non-removable Li-Po 2040 mAh battery provides stand-by time 650 hours on both 2G and 3G networks and talk time up to 16 hours on both 2G and 3G networks, but the main drawback is the handset is powered with non removable battery means if any mishandling happen with the battery users only have a way to replace the whole handset instead of the battery. This is the cause which affects the handset popularity amongst the users.
