HTC ONE Remix Hands On

Before this we already have a complete range of HTC One devices. There are lots of other members also belonging to this family with minor hardware differences. HTC One Remix is the handset currently confirmed by officials. This is the modest version of HTC ONE MINI 2. The handset comes with minor changes. Basically the handset is specially designed for Verizon carrier and the carrier has a plan to release the handset on 24^th July 2014. The handset has a slim metal body and equipped with well balanced hardware. The software section is typically based on Android. The handset has a fine brush metal finishing bezels which give the enhanced look to the handset. Let us have a detailed review what HTC provides?

  Design and Display

The new handset also follows the foot of the elder one and has the same design. The handset is made up with metal body which gives the sophisticated look to the handset. The handset has a thin bezel, by dimension the handset measures 137.4 x 65 x 10.6 mm. These are equally balanced from all sides. The handset carries 137 Grams weight which is quiet reasonable according to the size of the handset. The handset has a Super LCD2 capacitive touch screen. The screen size is 4.5 inches having 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, not so high but well balanced as per screen size. The handset screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which provides the support to the screen from scratches and saves the screen from any other damage to the maximum extent. The handset is well balanced and makes the handset handy and convenient.  

 Software and users interface

 The handset has a typical operating system Android 4.4.2 KitKat but HTC did not provide the Android interface in the handset. HTC provides their own design Sense UI to the users which is light in weight and easy in use and users can easily understand the functions of the smartphone. Both Android and HTC SENS UI make the good combination and increase the battery life of the handset because they consume low power to run the handset and keep the handset on working condition without any problem.

Processor & Memory

 HTC always tries to make the good combination of hardware. The handset is powered with 1.2 GHz Quad Core Cortex-A7 processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 system on chip. Although the most powerful versions of the chipset of Snapdragon is placed but those are really high and this is the mid range handset so the Snapdragon 400 chip is well enough for this handset. For running the graphic interface company placed Adreno 305 GPU which provides the complete graphic interface with their true color. The handset has a 1.5 GB RAM and 16GB on board memory. The in-built memory can be extended up to 128 GB via external memory card. There is no doubt that the handset processor, chipset and GPU are the powerful combination. On board memory is enough and users have an open option to increase the in-built memory the RAM is also enough. Users can easily download and run the large files without facing the slow handset progress.

Camera

 HTC provides a well configured camera in all the newly launched handsets. This handset has a 13 mega pixel rear and 5 mega pixel front facing camera with 4128 x 3096 pixels density. The pixel density is well enough to provide the fine quality to the images. The handset camera has smart features like autofocus and LED flash. Autofocus select the accurate position of capturing object automatically without any manual efforts and LED Flash provide the light if users want to take the images in dim lights. Users can equally enjoy the image result. 5 mega pixels camera provides the good quality for video calling. The camera configuration is superb according to the handset.

Battery  

Sometime manufacturers make the fault which may not be expected from them. This is a common thing that users prefer to use the handset they have a removable battery option because they don’t want to waste their time for changing the whole handset instead of battery, if battery is not working properly. The handset is energized with Non-removable Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery. However the battery provides good stand by and talk time but still the blunder was there. The battery is non removable which is the cause to reduce the popularity of the HTC ONE REMIX.
