LG G3 Vs Galaxy S5 Comparative Review , Face to Face

LG G3 is the handset newly launched by LG. however the handset does not have the great combination of the hardware. But this is the first device of the world claiming to have a Super QHD display with 1440 x2560 pixels resolutions. LG G3 faces the competitor like Galaxy S5, the other monster presented bit earlier than the LG G3. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a low pixel count in comparison to LG G3 but the handset provides the other smart features too. The Galaxy S5 offering water and dust proof body, plenty of software and 16 mega pixel camera seems better. Here we are going to compare both giants point to point in detail.

The handset supports 432 pixels per inch density. Though LG G3 has a sharpest display but Samsung delivers good color accuracy because of its prefect pixel density.

Software and User Interface

 Both LG and Samsung are same in the aspect of software. The both handsets use Android based operating system as Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The both handsets have same software features.

But in the interface LG takes good benefits. The both handsets are powered with their own design interface. LG combine their own user interface with Android operating system and pack lots of useful applications in the handset. With the help of LG’s own design user interface, users can make their own pattern to unlock the handset. This is not enough LG also includes dual window option in the handset. The application allows the users to run two applications at the same time by splitting the windows.

Samsung also put their own TouchWiz software with Android operating system and the software can receive the major updates which make the features more effective than ever. Samsung puts the two major functions in the handset. S5 has a fingerprint scanner attached with the home button and a heart rate sensor beneath the rear camera. Users love to use the fingerprint scanner to save the device from the other users.  

Processor and Memory

Both handsets are equipped with the great hardware configuration and there is no doubt that both handsets work fine. LG G3 is embedded with Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 with Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chip and Adreno 330 GPU. 3 GB RAM is offered by the company with 16 GB on board memory, can be extended up to 128 GB via microSD card.

Samsung put the Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 with Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 system on chip and Adreno 330 GPU. Company provides 2 GB RAM and 16/32 GB in built memory which can be extendable up to 128 GB with the help of memory card.

There is no doubt that the Qualcomm Snapdragon gives the fastest speed to the handsets and users can perform multi tasks without any hassle in the count of memory the handsets have a sufficient and the users can easily download and run the large files without facing  a low capacity and hanging problem.

 Camera

 Users always prefer to buy the smartphone that really have the smart camera features. LG G3 has a 13 mega pixel rear camera. Although the handset is a giant smartphone but in the feature of camera the handset is not enough good as users expect. The LG camera is equipped with two tone flash led lights which give the support to the users to take the image in dim light.  However LG G3 has a 13 mega pixel camera and Galaxy S5 has a 16 mega pixel rear camera but the both handsets work well and users can enjoy the camera features with fine quality images.

Battery

At a momentary look, the LG G3 takes the advantage over the Galaxy S5, at least in terms of battery. LG G3 has a 3000 mAh monster battery. The battery provides the talk time up to 19 hours in 2G and up to 21 hours in 3G network and stand by time are 565 hours in 2G network and 553 hours in 3G network which is well enough to enjoy the features of the handset.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is energized with 2800 mAh battery provide talk time up to 21 hours and stand by time up to 390 hours. Both handsets have removable battery and if any miss handling happens with the battery the users don’t need to replace the whole set. They have an option to change the battery only.
