LG and Samsung both are the giants in the electronic industry as well as in smartphone making. The both have their own design. We find one common thing; the both handsets are made up with the polycarbonate. Both handsets have perfection in their own way.

LG uses the super fine plastic for making the body of LG G3 and gives the faded look with the perfect mixing of metal. Samsung also build the plastic body for galaxy S5 but the company gives the texture pattern to the handset. The texture gives the handset leather look. The texture pattern keeps the stains away from the handset.

If we talk about the screen LG G3 is not excessively uncomfortable to hold because of its extra slim bezels. The G3 measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm, and 149 Grams weight. Users always have to take care for that large screen handset. Samsung Galaxy S5 is small in size and easy and convenient to carry. Galaxy S5 has a 5.1 inches display, the dimension of the handset measures 142 x 72.5 x 8.1 mm and 145 grams weight. The most durable thing is the Galaxy S5 has a water and dust proof body which LG G3 doesn’t have. Although the both handsets are not less in the weight but they do not feel too heavy in the hand.

LG G3 has an extra ordinary spiky QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. 5.5-inch screen offers 538 pixels per inch density. This is the reason LG claims that the device has a world’s sharpest display. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 5.1 inches Super AMOLED display with standard 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. The handset supports 432 pixels per inch density. Though LG G3 has a sharpest display but Samsung delivers good color accuracy because of its prefect pixel density.

Software and User Interface

Both LG and Samsung are same in the aspect of software. The both handsets use Android based operating system as Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The both handsets have same software features.

But in the interface LG takes good benefits. The both handsets are powered with their own design interface. LG combine their own user interface with Android operating system and pack lots of useful applications in the handset. With the help of LG’s own design user interface, users can make their own pattern to unlock the handset. This is not enough LG also includes dual window option in the handset. The application allows the users to run two applications at the same time by splitting the windows.

Samsung also put their own TouchWiz software with Android operating system and the software can receive the major updates which make the features more effective than ever. Samsung puts the two major functions in the handset. S5 has a fingerprint scanner attached with the home button and a heart rate sensor beneath the rear camera. Users love to use the fingerprint scanner to save the device from the other users.

Processor and Memory

Both handsets are equipped with the great hardware configuration and there is no doubt that both handsets work fine. LG G3 is embedded with Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 with Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chip and Adreno 330 GPU. 3 GB RAM is offered by the company with 16 GB on board memory, can be extended up to 128 GB via microSD card.

Users always prefer to buy the smartphone that really have the smart camera features. LG G3 has a 13 mega pixel rear camera. Although the handset is a giant smartphone but in the feature of camera the handset is not enough good as users expect. The LG camera is equipped with two tone flash led lights which give the support to the users to take the image in dim light. Super laser beam is also located in camera, a feature which gives the fastest capturing speed to the camera.  Along with the rear camera LG G3 has a 2.1 Mega pixel front facing camera as well for video calling.

In this aspect Samsung has a really good camera configuration. Galaxy S5 is equipped with 16 mega pixel rear camera. The Galaxy S5 camera has a fastest capturing speed it take the picture less than 0.3 seconds. Galaxy S5 also powered with 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera to support the video calling.

Companies give their best to the users and get the reputation from the market. If users will spend money on them they don’t feel they wasted their money at all infect they were enjoying to have that much durable handsets with them.
