LG G3 VS XPERIA Z3 Latest Comparison between the Giants

Introduction

This is the world of technology. In the mobile phones Android is one of the hot demanded technology and most of the companies use this latest technology in their smartphones, tablets and phablets. If we see the industry of smartphone we find many giants such as Samsung, HTC, LG and Sony.

LG and Sony both are the 4^th biggest Android subscribers. Most of the handsets of both are based on Android. After Mobile World Conference, LG revealed one of the biggest giants of the company known as “LG G3”. This is the main flagship after that many versions of this main flagship are out including the premium version of the handset.  LG G3 has a different model numbers according to the regions. The handset model numbers are LG G3 D855 for Europe, LG G3 D850 for AT&T and LG G3 D851 for T-Mobile On the other handset Sony revealed their handset with verity of versions. We all know Sony did not launch the mini version of their giants they launched compact versions of the handset. Here we are going to compare the two giants from the both companies. LG G3 is already avaiable in the regions and Sony Xperia Z3 is the upcoming handset of the company. The handset is also known as Sony Xperia Z3 D6653. Specifications

 Design and Display

This is quite difficult to compare the two giants with each other. Both carry different but powerful specifications. LG G3 is made up with the shiny plastic. The plastic keeps away the handset from stains. On the other handset Sony Xperia Z3 is also expected to come in with plastic body. LG G3 carries 149 grams weight and the dimension of the handset measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm equally and the Xperia Z3 has a 158 Grams weight and the dimensions are 146.5 x 72.4 x 7.4 mm, means both the handsets have slim body but in the account of weight the Xperia Z3 carries a bit more weight in comparison of LG G3. There is no difference found in the dimensions of both.

LG G3 has a True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touch screen. The size of the screen is 5.5 inches and has 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Xperia Z3 has IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. The screen of the handset measures 5.2 inches having 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. There is no screen protection found in the handset. In the account of the screen size and display resolution the LG G 3 takes the plus points in front of Xperia Z3 because LG G3 has 3 inches larger display than Xperia Z3 and the pixels density is double in LG G3 which gives the best results to the users in all type of light conditions.

Software and User interface

Both are the Android based handset. So they both run Android KitKat operating system. This is one of the light weight operating system which consumes less battery power for running the interface of the handset and operating system but LG G3 is running Android operating system with their own designed user interface. The interface of LG G3 comes with many new features and users would love to use this interface instead of using typical Android interface. Xperia Z3 typically runs Android interface.  So again LG G3 beat Xperia Z3 in the account of user interface.

Processor and Memory

 They both are giants and they both provide the massive data storage on their handsets along with efficient processor, chipset and GPU combination. LG G3 and Xperia Z3 both are embedded with Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 processor, Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chipset and Adreno 330 GPU. This is one of the finest combinations of processor, chipset and GPU and the combination enhances and increases the working ability of the handsets. But in the account of memory the LG again beat the upcoming Xperia Z3. LG placed 2 or 3 GB RAM inside the LG G3 with 16 or 32 GB on board memory. The onboard memory can be extended up to 128 GB via microSD card but Xperia Z3 comes with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB on board memory. However the on board memory of the handset can be extendable up to 128 GB but LG G3 comes with many options and Xperia Z3 only comes with constant memory option.

Camera

The camera is one of the most desire able components of the handset now days. The LG G3 is equipped with 13 mega pixel rear and 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera with 4160 x 3120 pixels density. The handset camera has some additional features like face detection/laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, dual-LED (dual tone) and flash. The options of the camera are good and users will have a great experience while capturing the images with their LG G3 smartphone.

Sony Xperia Z3 has a 20.7 mega pixel rear and 2.2 mega pixel front facing camera with 5248 х 3936 pixels resolution, autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR, panorama. There is no doubt that the both handsets are equipped with powerful camera but now Xperia Z3 defeats the LG G3 because the Sony placed the giant camera inside the handset. Users will give the plus points to Xperia Z3 in the account of camera.

Battery

Battery is the heart of any handset. The LG G3 has a Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery which gives stand-by up to 565 hours on 2G and 553 hours on 3G networks and the talk time of the battery is 19 hours on 2G and 21 hours on 3G networks. The Xperia Z3 expectedly has non-removable Li-Po battery. The talk time and the stand by time of the battery are still not known because the handset is still not avaiable and will make the debut before the end of this year 2014.

Extra Features

 The both handsets have some protection features on their own capability. LG G3 is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which keeps the handset screen away from screen damages, scratches and other marks. There is no screen protection found in Xperia Z3, but the Xperia Z3 is P58 certified and has a dust proof and water resistant ability. The handset can remain alive for 30 minutes under 1 meter deep water easily.

Colors and Status

LG G3 already hit the markets and made the lots of fans. The handset is avaiable in various colors like Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, Burgundy Red and the Xperia Z3 is in the queue and will hit the markets before the end of this year. Xperia Z3 will be avaiable in three charming colors Black, White, Emerald.
