LG L50 Hands On

LG is the big name in making of house hold electronic items as well as in the mobile phone manufacturing. LG has their own style and they try to provide the latest technology to the users. Recently LG announced complete series of the handsets from low, mid and high range. Those handsets have a different prices and different specifications. LG L50 is the new member of L series. This is the compact handset with good configuration. Let us see what the handset has to offer to the users.

 Design And Display

 LG always presents the handsets with slim bezels. This new handset also has a slim body and light in weight and easy to carry. The handset carries 142 grams weight, means the handset is easy to carry because of low weight. The handset measures 124.5 x 65.4 x 12.2 mm by dimensions equally which gives the accuracy and make the handset perfect. The handset has a 4.0 inches Capacitive touch screen having 480 x 800 pixels resolutions. Although this is not the high resolution but the it is quite enough for that handy handsets. The resolution provides the same bright results in the dark as well as in the bright light.

Spftware and Users Interface

The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat. This is the light weight operating system and easy to use. The software has many built in apps and has a colorful interface which may attract the users. There is a tips section present in the operating system for user’s assistance. If they face any problem while using the handset the tip appears in the form of callout and guides the users according to their requirements. This operating system increases the battery life of the handset because the operating system consumes low power to start the handset.

Processor and Memory

It is a handy handset and has a good hardware configuration. The LG L50 is powered with 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor with Mediatek MT6572 chipset. This is the typical combination of processor and the chipset. The combination provides sufficient speed to the handset and makes the handset workable in very convenient manner for running the graphic interface; the company placed Mali-400 GPU which works with all type of graphic interface and gives the complete comprehensive interface to the users. 512 MB RAM and 4 GB on board memory is offered by the company.  The inbuilt memory can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card. Though the handset has other good configuration but in the account of RAM the handset has a drawback. The RAM of the handset is low and users can not download large number of files, heavy games and cannot perform multi tasks. If they try to download the heavy games they have to face low speed of the handset because of low RAM so they need to avoid to store too much applications and data on their handset for maintain the speed.       

Camera

 It is an assumption that the handset is a mid range handset according to the specifications. The handset has a 3.15 mega pixel primary and VGA secondary camera. However the handset camera is low in configuration but according to the other specifications the handset camera density is quite enough and users can easily capture their images with the handset.

Battery

The handset is energized with Li-Ion 1900 mAh battery. There is no information available till yet about the stand by and talk time but we can expect that the handset provides the good stand by time to keep the handset on and provides sufficient talk time for the talkative persons.

Release Date, Color and Price

 The handset will be available in many colors. Users have open choice to select the color according to their taste. There is no release date available for the handset till yet when the handset will hit the markets. The price of the handset is still not known but we can expect that the handset stands in mid range category according to the specifications.
