Introduction

The time has changed now. This is the time of tablets and its becoming a fashion day by day and increased the number of users love to own and use the tablets. We already have an iPad from Apple and besides Apple lots of companies already introduced their tablets in the market. We let the users know about the current event of Samsung held on June 12^th   in the event Samsung introduced two tablets in the series of S named Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is equipped with Samsung own designed Super AMOLED screen. The tablet runs the latest Android operating system and has a good configuration. Here we are going to discuss the detailed features of Samsung Galaxy Tab s 8.4.

Specifications

Design And Display

 Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is newly announced tablet by Samsung. This tablet is similar in design with the previously launched Galaxy S5. The body is made up with the shiny plastic with the accurate measure of 212.8 x 125.6 x 6.6 mm which gives the prefect look to the tablet. The tablet basically is square in shape and due to the plastic body it weighs 294 g which is quite enough for such giant tablet. 

Galaxy 8.4 is equipped with Samsung’s own designed SUPER AMOLED display with 1600 x 2560 which gives the vibrant appearance to the display and will never disappoint the users and its wide area work efficiently in all conditions of light. The pixel resolutions is not new before this Samsung gave the same resolution to the other devices and the pixels give the clear results to the users. In short the Super AMOLED display with this resolution gives the bright and satisfying display to the users.

Software and User interface

Users are familiar with the Samsung devices previously. Galaxy S tab 8.4 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with Samsung TouchWiz user interface. The interface of the operating system is optimized completely but with the limitations of the usage of large screen. All latest features and applications are present in the handset and Samsung added more efficient features in the device to provide the better experience.

Processor and Memory

Samsung always try to give the powerful configuration to the users and in this manner Samsung selection makes the perfect combination of hardware as well as the software. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is embedded with Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 paired with Exynos 5 Octa 5420 system on chip which gives the speed to  the tablet and users feel no problem . For graphic interface Samsung has inserted the Mali-T628 MP6 chip for the proper graphic interface. 3 GB RAM offered by the company has different capacity option such as 16 or 32 GB on board memory. Users can select to their required memory option. Both on board memories can be extended up to 128 GB via external memory card. This is the well balanced combination of processor, RAM and onboard memory which gives the good speed to the users and gives them a flaw less using experience.

Camera

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is powered with 8 Mega Pixel Primary camera having 3264 x 2448 pixels density which give the better short to the users in the same device has a 2.1 Mega Pixel secondary camera for video calling. Rests of the features of camera are same as the previously launched flagship Galaxy S5. The camera has a autofocus, LED flash features too.

Battery

 Samsung Tab S 8.4 offers 4900mAh battery which is quite high and provides enough backup time to the tablet. The exact backup time of battery is still not known but according to the capacity it gives the good impression to the users but the main drawback of the tablet is the non removable battery. If any mishandling happens with the battery, users need to replace the tablet and they don’t have any other option.

Price

 Samsung is always tries to give the best in less price to the users. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a mid range tablet with quite high specification. Company fixed 420 USD price for Galaxy S Tab and users are quite happy with this price because of the high spec.

Expectations

 Number of users love to use the Samsung devices and they are keenly waiting to use the newly announced Galaxy S tab series. Although the tablets is still not available in the market but users expect a lot from this device. According to the specifications we can assume that this device gives the best result to the users and generates the good share for the company. The price of the tablet is 420 USD with these specification we can say the price is quite reasonable for this mid range tablet. But for the complete users opinion we have to wait until we use Galaxy Tab S.
