Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Review, Real Hero

Introduction

Now Sony has made another attempt in the shape of Xperia T2 Ultra to win the market.

Sony Xperia Z ultra enjoyed a reputation of an extremely good phablet. There was only one negative point with this was its high price which did not attract many customers because other devices with equal good performance will available in the market at much lower price.

It has an extra large size screen and yet Xperia Ultra T2 is not the main product which can be called a flagship smartphone. This time Sony has priced it at a moderate range and not in very impressive hardware. They realized their aim is to market the device for money and not to present something very fast fancy looks and the costliest.

Design And Display

Xperia T2 Ultra is similar in the design and make as is conventional with its Z smartphones. It is thin, slim, 7.7mm thick with 170grams weight and pretty looking phablet. The two differ in the material of their make. Xperia Z1 has metal body and a glass back cover where as Xperia T2 Ultra has a plastic body but it is so shiny and glittering, it gives the look of actual glass and make and finish absolutely perfect. It gives an elegant look. Unfortunately it lacks here also; is not water and dust proof.

XperiaT2 Ultra has 6 inches screen having 1280 x 720 pixel resolution out of which 80 pixels are consumed by the bottom of the screen where the buttons are located. Its screen gives good display but its performance for E Book and PDF file reading is not very fantastic. Its touch system is very sensitive. Though its screen is very vibrant yet it is no good while using in the sun light however under the shade it gives good view of text or pictures.

User Interface And Software

Xperia T2 Ultra operates on Android 4.3 Jelly Been. Its multi tasking app launching and installer and options to customized are just like the stock Android. Xperia T2 Ultra comes with built-in apps; McAfee security and Track ID TV.

Processor And Memory

T2 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor. This is the variant of MSM8228 processor. The four cores of the processor use A7 ARM architecture, which is meant to be used in mainstream devices. The cores run at 1.4GHz. T2 Ultra has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and support for an up to 32GB microSD card.

Camera

Xperia T2 Ultra primary camera has the capacity of 13 Mega pixels with decent results. When we called decent its mean it has ability to gives sharp touch to the images but it has a low light it’s unable to get the images from too far it’s good for the close image capturing.

The front facing camera based on 1.1 Mega pixel which is also not too good but able to capture the enough quality images as well as the video chat.

Battery

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has a Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. The battery of this device has been tested and found to be longest lasting and has record of 10 hours + of screen on. The battery provides the 24 hours talk time back when the phablet on 3G mode and month on a half on standby.

It takes 4 hours to charge fully. When it is supplied it has just 0.85A output where as all other reputed devices have more than 1A.

Experts Opinion

Comparing all its week and strong points VizaViz its cost and other devices Sony has produced an excellent device with its screen size and camera functionality along with the other features. It is certainly worth having with in a manageable budget.
