Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G unveiled with Snapdragon 765G Chipset

Google has officially taken the wraps off the Google Pixel 5 5G and Pixel 4a 5G at the “Launch Night In” event. The company has also unveiled a new Chromecast with Google TV and Nest Audio speaker at the same launch event. Both the new smartphones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC and include Titan M security chip.

Google Pixel 5

The Google Pixel 5 runs on Android 11 and has a 6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,340 pixels) OLED display with 432ppi pixel density and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display also features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. For photos and videos, the Google Pixel 5 arrives with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 12.2-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video chats, the Google Pixel 5 has an 8-megapixel sensor at the front with an f/2.0 aperture. Both the rear and front cameras offer up to 4K video recording support at up to 60fps. Google Pixel 5 comes with 128GB of onboard storage. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Google has provided a 4,080mAh battery on the Pixel 5 that supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone also supports wireless charging and reverse charging.

Google Pixel 4a 5G

The Google Pixel 4a 5G has a 6.2-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,340 pixels) OLED display with 413ppi pixel density and Corning Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 11 OS. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Chipset, coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The Google Pixel 4a 5G comes with 128GB of internal storage. The phone includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also features stereo speakers and two microphones. Google Pixel 4a 5G arrives with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 12.2-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies experience, the Pixel 4a 5G has an 8-megapixel shooter at the front with an f/2.0 lens. The phone packs a 3,885mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It, unfortunately, doesn't offer wireless charging.
