Pegatron Allegedly Working on Trial Production of Microsoft Surface Phones

One of Apple’s major suppliers Pegatron is allegedly prepping for production trials of Microsoft’s highly rumored Surface phone. A Chine based news paper claims that Pegatron will start trail production of Surface devices. Microsoft Company is also expected to launch its Surface phone in easrly 2017.


Unfortunately, the report didn’t reveal specifications of the trial production of the Surface Phone. The Pegatron Taiwanee Company is an Apple original design manufacturer (ODM). The report suggests that Apple’s order for iPhone reports for nearly 60 percent of Pegatron’s total sales.


Microsoft’s Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella in a recent interview had guaranteed the company’s continued presence in the mobile space. "We will continue to be in the phone market not as defined by today's market leaders, but by what it is that we can uniquely do in what is the most ultimate mobile device."


The company is rendered to be working on three Surface models targeted at regular consumer, business users, and enthusiast categories. Unluckily, there have been no details about what features would differentiate the smartphones in the precise groups.  The Surface smartphones for the different categories are expected to vary based on processor, storage, and other features.


An executive from MicroSoft informed that company is working on an high-end surface phone which will be exclusive to enterprises.
