Chinese tech giant, Vivo has today officially unveiled its two new budget-friendly phones – Vivo Y51A and Y31s. The Vivo Y51A phone comes in Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony color options and is powered by SDM 662 Chipset. On the other hand, Vivo Y31s has Monet, Titanium Grey, and Ruby Red colors. This device has been launched as the world’s first smartphone powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 480 mobile platform.
Vivo Y51A
The newly launched Vivo Y51A features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD water-drop notch screen. The display offers Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The smartphone runs FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 11. The Vivo Y51A is powered by the Snapdragon 662 mobile platform. The SoC is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset also comes with a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card. To keep the lights on, the Vivo Y51A has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. At the rear, it has a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone comes with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfie experience. The front and rear cameras come with support for Super Night mode. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and measures 163.86x75.32x8.38mm. The weight of Vivo Y51A is listed to be at 188 grams.

Vivo Y31s
The Vivo Y31s 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a teardrop notch. The 20.7:9 aspect ratio supporting display offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 480 SoC powers the Vivo Y31s along with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The phone comes with an internal storage of 128GB. The handset is preinstalled with FunTouch OS 10.5 based Android 11 OS. For selfies, the Vivo Y31 has a front camera of 8MP. On the rear shell is a square-shaped camera module that houses a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth assist lens, and an LED flash. The Vivo Y31s 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery.
