A report from the Chinese social media page, Weibo says that Xiaomi will launch a new smartphone, the Xiaomi Play, in China to target the young generation gaming lovers. The Xiaomi Play is said to be the Re-Branded Pocophone F1 with slight different configurations in specs. It is rumored to carry a 48MP Rear Camera. A seina weibo user suggested that Xiaomi is planning to hold a launch event between December 17 and December 26, most probably December 24 as release date.
If the Xiaomi Play is really a re-branded version of the Xiaomi Poco F1, then it will feature a 6.2in IPS LCD Display, FHD+ resolution, Dual Rear Camera setup, a Selfie shooter, Android OS v9.0 Pie, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, Octa-core processor, Adreno 630 GPU, 4/6/8 GB RAM, 128/256 GB Storage, and a longer life 4000mAh battery, all this setup for a best low price just like the Pocophone.
