The Asus mobile maker is expected to release three models of its new generation ZenFone 3 models at Zenvolution event at Humble House in Taipei. The event will hold earlier this month, it scheduled to start at 11:30am IST and the company started to send invites for the event.
Unfortunately, there is no adequate information about upcoming smartphones but they expect to own fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C ports, and metal frames. Previously in this month, a benchmark listing revealed that one smartphone from out of three will carry Z106D codename. The smartphone will pack a full-HD display and it will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM. The mobile will have a 23-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel front facing camera.
In the start of the year, two other devices were popped out in benchmark listings with codename Z010DD and Z012D. As per listing, the first one will have a 5.9-inch HD display and it will be powered by Snapdragon 615 SoC. It has 32GB native storage and 3GB of RAM. The Z012D model features 5.5-inch full-HD display and it is also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC. Under the hood, there is 3GB of RAM; and 32GB of inbuilt storage.
Last month Zenfone 3 series also tipped on Red Dot21 website. The Asus ZenFone 3 devices was seen to pack a 2.5D glass on both the front and back with a curved aluminum frame. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, both front and rear LED flash modules, and laser autofocus. It was said that the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe seen on the Red Dot 21 website with an all-metal build with a physical home button and capacitive buttons on either side.
