Lenovo S5 Pro and Lenovo K5 Pro are two new budget-friendly smartphone recently introduced by Lenovo brand. The appearing difference at first look between them is a notch which gives the impression in the S5 Pro while not in the K5 Pro. Both devices carry a Quad Camera Setup, dual on front and dual on rear. The Lenovo S5 Pro and K5 Pro are powered by same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, Octa-core 1.8GHz processor and Adreno 509 GPU.
Talking about the Lenovo S5 Pro, it comes with 6.2 inches IPS LCD Display, FHD+ resolution, 18.7:9 aspects ratio, and 402 ppi density. It is crafted with metal body, measures 154.5 x 75.5 x 7.7 mm dimensions and has 170 grams weight. It is running on Android 8.1 (Oreo) covered with the ZUI 5.0 custom overlay.
The Lenovo S5 Pro sports Dual 12MP + 20MP Rear Cameras and Dual 20MP + 8MP Selfie Cameras. It is supported with AI Beauty tech to offer more beautiful images. You can capture both 4k videos and FHD movies. Lenovo S5 Pro has a dedicated Infrared Face Recognition Sensor for a secure 3D Facial Unlock. The device is energized with a Li-Ion 3500mAh non-removable battery which can be recharged quickly via 15W Fast Charging support.
The S5 Pro arrives in two variants; the first one owns 6GB RAM and 64GB Storage and the second model houses the same 6GB RAM but 128GB inbuilt memory. MicroSD card slot is available too. The Price of Lenovo S5 Pro starts from CNY 1300 (in China) which indicates a price tag of $200 for global market. The bigger variant two will cost some more.
Now look at the Lenovo K5 Pro, it boasts a 6.0in FHD+ IPS LCD Display, 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspects ratio, 403 PPI density, Android 8.1 Oreo and Dual 16MP + 5MP Rear Cameras. There is the same camera setup of Dual 16MP + 5MP on the front. With the main camera lens, you can record amazing 4K videos at 30fps. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support Infrared Facial Sensor like the S5 Pro to support Face ID. Luckily, a Fingerprint Scanner is available on rear.
The Lenovo K5 Pro comes in three RAM and ROM options as 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. MicroSD slot facilitating your data storing urge is there as well. The handset is powered by a long-lasting Li-Ion 4050mAh battery with 15W Fast Charging support. Lenovo K5 Pro Price for 4GB/64GB configuration is CNY 1000 which translates to $150. The 6GB/64GB variant is priced at CNY 1100 ($165); however, the 6GB/128GB model has a price tag of CNY 1300 ($200).
The pre-orders have started now while the shipment will begin on October 23, 2018.
