A few days ago, HMD Global launched its Nokia 2 affordable smartphone in South Asia. The event took place in India. At the moment of launch, the Company said that the Nokia 2 will be available for sale in mid November and its price will be 99 euro which is around INR 7590 or $115. According to the Company’s promise the sales of Nokia 2 has begin. A new report from NokiaPowerUser tells us that HMD Global quietly made its Nokia 2 available in South Africa which is the second market to get this smartphone. There in Africa the Nokia 2 is presented as a Vodacom exclusive product. Vodacom is delivering Nokia 2 for ZAR 1699 which becomes approximately $117. We hope soon this budget friendly handset will be shipped in other countries and regions.
