Oppo silently (without any invitation card) launched the Oppo R15X with Under-Screen Fingerprint Reader. It is an upper mid-range smartphone which has come with flagship level features. The handset is currently listed at Oppo’s official website.
The Oppo R15x has 6.4 inches AMOLED Display, 19.5:9 aspects ratio, 403 PPI density and FHD+ resolution. It is made of metal frame protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and rear sides. You are getting the Android 8.1 (Oreo) platform along with ColorOS 5.2 interface.
Oppo R15x brings Dual 16MP (f/1.7) + 2MP Rear Cameras, it lets you shoot splendid photos and 4K videos. Some software-aided tricks may assist you to take more beautiful shoots. There is a 25MP Front Camera with HDR mode to capture your special heart touching moments. It offers you to lock brighter and sharper selfies with AI Beauty tech. Other AI filters are also available such as AI Scene Detection allows it to recognize 800 scenes and objects.
The Oppo R15x is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset and Adreno 512 GPU, aided by Octa-core 2.0GHz processor and 6GB RAM. It has no microSD card slot, but there is 128GB Memory for massive stock. The Device is packed by a Li-Ion 3500mAh Non-removable Battery, unfortunately, which doesn’t support is Fast Charging option.
It comes in two striking body colors Nebula and Ice. Oppo R15x Price is CNY 2499 which translates to $360. The Pre-orders have been started now in China; however, the other regions will get this handset soon. The Sales and Shipments will start on 1st November, 2018.
