Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus are the new smartphones of 2018. Both handsets are said to have an front-screen Fingerprint Sensor, a beautiful design and a sharper display, Dual 12MP+20MP Rear Camera Setup and 20MP Front, Android 8.0 Oreo OS, Flyme UI skin, Snapdragon 845 chipset, Octa-core processor, and Adreno 630 GPU.

Release Date
The Chinese Brand confirmed the release date through an invitation post which reveals that the Meizu 16/Meizu 16 Plus will be launched on August 8.
The Pre-orders and Shipment will also begin in August.
Price
Gizmo China suggested that the Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus prices will start from $399 and $499 respectively.
Another report said that the Meizu 16 will cost lower than CNY 4000 which translates to $615.

Design, Display, and OS
The Smartphones have the similar design but different size. There is a 2.5D curved glass, a massive screen, ultra-thin bezels at top and bottom, a front-facing camera lens, and an mBack button with a dual camera setup on the back. Luckily, the ugly notch is not there.
A rendered image of the front panel claims that both the gadgets will have an under-display Fingerprint Reader. A recent report from Slashleaks has also confirmed the in-screen FR for Meizu 16 Plus.
Both Meizu devices have different display and resolution. Meizu 16 will bring 6.0-inch AMOLED Display, 18:9 aspect ratio, and 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution with a 402 PPI Density. The handsets will be powered by Android 8.0 (Oreo) which is customized with the latest Flyme UI OS.

A camera sample photo from the AnTuTu benchmark reveals that the new Meizu 16 series devices will have dual rear camera sensors and one of them is 12 MP321 cxz\z while the second lens has the un-known resolution. The same source claims the f/1.8 aperture for the primary 20 MP lens.

Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and plus Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, an Octa-core processor, and Adreno 630 and plus GPU Adreno 630. The cheaper version is carrying a 4GB, 6GB, (8GB) RAM and 64GB, 128GB, (128GB) onboard Storage while the Plus model is getting 6/8 GB RAM and 128 GB, (8GB RAM, 256GB ROM) inbuilt Memory. Meizu 16 and 16 Plus will launch at least in three variants which will have more RAM and ROM.
