Samsung ATIV S Neo
Samsung ATIV S Neo True to its word, Sprint is finally getting on board with the Windows Phone 8 platform and announced the Samsung ATIV S Neo earlier today, with plans to release it sometime this summer.
The ATIV S Neo was one of two Windows Phone 8 smart phones announced by Sprint today that are planned for a summer release, the other being the HTC 8XT. Powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, the ATIV S Neo will be on Sprint's LTE network and will have a 4.8-inch "high-definition display" (no word on the type of display technology or whether it will be true high-def), 1GB of RAM, and a 2,000 mAh removable lithium-ion battery.
NFC Technology
The NFC technology on the ATIV S Neo uses Samsung's "ATIV Beam" branded software to transfer files, not unlike S Beam on Android. The ATIV S Neo will be able to share files via NFC with all other Windows Phone 8 devices and "select" Android devices. Other features include an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, and a variety of shooting modes like Beauty Shot and Manga Camera.
Like the 8XT, Sprint is not currently saying when the ATIV S Neo will be released other than sometime this summer, but it has been priced at $149.99 with a new two-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate.
The Samsung ATIV S Neo is a new mid range smart phone that runs on Windows OS. This smart phone is specific to US telecarrier Sprint and it won't be launched in other markets across the world. This smart phone carries many mid to high range features and it is priced accordingly.
OS & Processor
This smart phone runs on Windows Phone 8 OS, which is similar to that of the recent models in Samsung's ATIV series. The Samsung ATIV S Neo has a 1.4 GHz dual core processor to provide smooth computing performance. This device also incorporates 1 GB RAM in it to aid the processor.

There is an 8 MP primary camera loaded in this device and it comes with a range of supporting features in it. This handset also has a 1.9 MP front camera in it. When it comes to memory capability, the Samsung ATIV S Neo has 8 GB internal memory space. There is a micro SD slot that supports up to 64 GB memory expansion.
Media & Connectivity
The Samsung ATIV S Neo comes with a range of media features loaded in it. New Windows based applications can be downloaded in this device and it can be customized according to the preference of users. All the usual connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and 2G etc. are also available in this handset.
Hardware
This handset comes with a 4.8-inch display screen that has HD (1280 x 720 pixels) declaration. The display screen of this handset offers visuals at 306 ppi pixel density. The Samsung ATIV S Neo also has a 2000 mAh battery loaded in it.
