Design and Display
The Realme 2 looks more beautiful than its Pro version, thanks to the premium Diamond Back which is absent in the Realme 2 Pro having a simple back. The Realme 2 comes with a slightly bigger notch like the iPhone X. However, the Realme 2 Pro comes with a tiny V-shaped notch on front.
In terms of display, the Realme 2 Pro is bigger, sharper and brighter, sporting a 6.3 inches screen, 19.5:9 aspects ratio and 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. On the other side, the Realme 2 sports a 6.2 inches screen, 19:9 aspects ratio and 720 x 1520 pixels resolution.
Software and Hardware
Oppo Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro both run Android 8.1 (Oreo) but the standard version has Color-OS v5.1 and the Pro model has Color-OS v5.2 skin.
About hardware Oppo Realme 2 Pro is obviously much better. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, Octa-core 2.0GHz processor and Adreno 512 GPU. However, the Realme 2 is powered by Snapdragon 450 SoC, Octa-core 1.8GHz processor and Adreno 506 GPU. The Realme 2 Pro is twice more efficient than the Realme 2.
Talking about memory, the Realme 2 has a 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM while the Realme 2 Pro has 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage. The 3GB and 32GB configuration is sufficient but you can take a great edge of mightier 4GB and 64GB configuration of Pro model.
Battery
Oppo Realme 2 Pro has a 3500mAh battery while the Realme 2 comes with longer lasting 4230mAh battery. The Realme 2 Pro can run for a single day whereas the Realme 2 offers two days life time with fair usage.
Camera
Oppo Realme 2 gets Dual 13MP + 2MP Rear Cameras and an 8MP Selfie Camera. On the other side, the Realme 2 Pro comes with Dual 16MP + 2MP Rear Snappers and a 16MP front-facing shooter. Both are powered by AI Beauty Tech but the Pro model offers better photography experience as well as more splendid selfies.
Price
The Price of Realme 2 starts from INR 8,990 ($125) whereas the Price of Realme 2 Pro starts from INR 13,990 ($190). So by spending a little extra, you can get a brighter display, improved camera optics, additional powerful chipset and massive RAM and ROM. But if you still love Diamond Back Design and Huge Battery, the Realme 2 is a nice choice.
