As promised, Xiaomi introduced its new product line CC in today’s event. The brand makes clear what it means. According to the Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, CC stands for Colorful and Creative. The name suggested by Chic and Cool 90 team. This new smartphone series come into exist as a result after acquiring Meitu mobile company, and Xiaomi has a global license to sell Meitu branded phone around the world.

Against the expectations, there is no phone at June 21 event by Xiaomi, unluckily. However, many people were expecting to see Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e at that occasion. Xiaomi further explained 9 in ‘CC9’ represent the ninth anniversary of the brand. A report from familiar people with Xiaomi plans revealed the Chinese phone maker has delayed the launch of those of two smartphones, Mi CC9 and a cheaper Mi CC9e.

Speculations are Mi CC9 and CC9e will debut next month, July 2019. They would be the first Xiaomi smartphones to get Flip-Up and Rotating Cameras and a full infinite display. It is said they will use to equip Qualcomm 800 series chipset, and a mightier RAM probably 6/8 GB one. Rumors are Mi CC9 and CC9e will have a beautiful design similar to Mi 9 family.
