Huawei Y6s announced with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and Helio P35 Chipset

The Chinese electronics giant, Huawei launched its new entry-level smartphone called “Huawei Y6s.” The budget-friendly smartphone comes with Google Mobile Services (GMS) and is powered by a MediaTek Chipset. The Huawei Y6s flaunts a 6.09 inches IPS LCD that can support HD+ resolution with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, it is fueled by a MediaTek Helio P35 Chipset and paired with up to 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB storage. In terms of optics, the handset has a single 13MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The water-drop notch on the front houses an 8MP selfie sensor with an aperture rating of f/2.0. The Huawei Y6s packs a 3,020 mAh battery and does not support rapid charging. The cell phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS overlaid with Huawei’s layer EMUI 9. Like other low-end smartphones, it also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for additional security. Starry Blue and Orchid Black are the two color options of the smartphone.
