A new report from the brand’s home country (China) suggests that the upcoming Oneplus smartphone, The Oneplus 6, will be launched in March 2018 and the sales for new Oneplus 6 will be started in mid-March. The report also says that Oneplus 6 will be powered by the most powerful Qualcomm chipset named Snapdragon 845 which delivers up to 1.2Gbps peak download speed on faster 4G LTE network. The Snapdragon 845 SoC is faster than precursors and it is capable to support heavy and latest technology apps. In addition, the report tells that there will be an under-screen fingerprint sensor in Oneplus 6. It can’t say that the new home of fingerprint will be liked by the fans or not, further will it work faster as the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner?
As for the other specs, Oneplus 6 is expected to have a 6.0-inch full screen (18:9 aspect ratio) display, FHD+ resolution, gorilla glass5 protection, Octa core processor, Adreno 540 or 630 GPU, 6/8 GB RAM, 128/256 GB Storage, a single selfie snapper and dual rear cameras. It will be powered by Android Oreo OS skinned with latest Oxygen 4.7 OS. Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB-C port and fast charging option will be available too. The Oneplus 6 is rumored to have price tag around $500.
