Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 unveiled with quad-camera setup

As part of the Galaxy A 2020 series, Samsung has unveiled the two Smartphones – Galaxy A51 and A71 at an event in Vietnam. Interestingly, both devices have Infinity O-displays and offer an L-Shaped quad-camera setup on the back. The Samsung Galaxy A71 arrives as the successor to the Galaxy A70, while the Galaxy A51 debuts as the upgraded of Galaxy A50. According to the company, both phones will go on pre-orders in Vietnam from December 16, while the shipment will start on December 27. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t shared any information about the Global availability of these devices, but, It is expected these will arrive soon (globally).

Both new mobile phones run Android 10 OS customized with One UI 2.0 and also offer punch-hole display. The Galaxy A51 features a 6.5 inches Full HD+ (1080 x 2400) Super AMOLED display while the Galaxy A71 flaunts a 6.7 inches Full HD+ (1080 x 2400) Super AMOLED display. Although both devices have L-Shaped quad-camera setups but, the Galaxy A51 has a 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor instead of Galaxy A71’s 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor.

Moreover, the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 have a 32MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture on the front panels for taking selfies and live video recording. The Samsung Galaxy A51 packs a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 15W quick charging while the Galaxy A71 has powered by 4,500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging supported.
