Samsung Galaxy C9 to be released on October 21

South Korean Giant Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy C9 smartphone has been teased by the manufacturer with a new teaser. The firm has finally exposed release date of the device. The teaser is posted by Samsung on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo.

The teaser suggests that the upcoming Galaxy C9 will be launched on October 21. The device has spotted on the Benchmark website and leaked in other rumors as well. It has passed Chinese telecommunication certification authority TENNA authority as well.


According to preliminary leaks, the Galaxy C9 will pack a 6 inch display; it will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm CPU clocked at 1.4GHz. The device is expected to come with 6GB of RAM. In terms of camera, it is anticipated to house a 16MP rear camera and 16MP front camera. The camera will come with LED Flash and support a fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy C9 will have a 4000 mAh battery for power.


The TENNA listing reveals that the Galaxy C9 will support a full-HD AMOLED display with 1080x1920 pixels resolutions. The smartphone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the box upgradable to Android 7.0 Nougat. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and a fingerprint scanner.


Moreover, some leaks suggest that the Galaxy C9 will come along with Galaxy C9 Pro. Unfortunately, there is no information about the Galaxy C9 Pro so we have to wait till the standard model launch.
