Vivo S7 5G is confirmed to launch in China on August 3, as the brand posted a teaser video on the social media revealing the device's sleek body design. Various specifications of the upcoming S-series offering were leaked earlier, suggesting a dual-camera setup on the front for selfies and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC under the hood. On the back panel, the Vivo S7 is expected to come with a triple camera setup.
The teaser video shared by the company also suggests a purple color option. The company is said to begin the launch event at 7:30 PM in China. Additionally, the device has also been listed in Suning.com which is a Chinese e-commerce retailer. It is up for pre-orders which will be open till August 3.

On the other hand, a tipster has shared some images of the Vivo S7 5G on Weibo that shows the design of the device. The leaked images show that the Vivo S7 5G will have a wide notch on the front side. The rectangle-shaped camera setup placed on the backside of the device looks similar to Vivo X30’s rear camera unit. The handset can be seen sporting an attractive gradient color on its back. The dual front camera setup of the phone will have a 44-megapixel main shooter and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The rear camera setup is expected to house three cameras such as a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 13-megapixel portrait lens.
