Honor V40 to come with a 6.72-inch display and 4,000mAh battery

Honor is expected to unveil its new Honor V40 series on January 18. The upcoming series will succeed the Honor V30 series which was launched back in 2019. Today, full specifications of the vanilla Honor V40 have been leaked, courtesy of source Mydrivers.

Honor V40 (as per the report) will feature a 6.72-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 1236 x 2676 pixels, 1.07 billion colors, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The phone will house an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. For selfie experience, it is said to have a front camera of 32MP. The Honor V40 will have a quad-camera setup which will include a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 lens, an 8MP superwide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. The phone will draw power from a 4,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging and 45W fast wireless charging support. Honor V40 will measure 163.32 x 74.08 x 7.85mm and weigh around 184 grams. It will run Magic UI 4.0 based on Android 10 OS.
