The CEO has revealed more details about the upcoming OnePlus 9R in an interview with News18 Tech. He said that the OnePlus 9R would offer a “robust flagship experience” at a much more affordable price than the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Mr. Lau further added that the OnePlus 9R is “targeted to empower users with smooth scrolling, immersive gaming controls, and a superior viewing experience.” The company’s CEO also confirmed that this phone will be more affordable than the OnePlus Nord.

Unfortunately, the company hasn’t revealed any specifications or features of the upcoming device. However, he used the word “smooth,” so we can expect that the OnePlus 9R will come with some sort of high refresh rate. As per the recent reports, the OnePlus 9R is said to come with a 6.5-inch 90Hz display and a Snapdragon 690 SoC. It is also rumored to offer a 64MP camera and a sizeable 5,000mAh battery.
