Chinese tech giant Tecno has officially unveiled a new smartphone – Tecno Phantom X. This device is the company’s first premium phone with impressive features. The handset comes in Starry Night Blue and Monet Summer colors, and will be available for purchase next month. The key highlights of the Tecno Phantom X include a 90Hz Super AMOLED curved display, Helio G-series SoC, Android 11 OS, and a sizeable battery with fast charging support.

The Tecno Phantom X features a 6.7 inches Super AMOLED display. It is a 90Hz panel with 1080p+ resolution (19.5:9) and curved sides (the mark of a premium device). The device also has Gorilla Glass 5 on front and back panels. The fingerprint reader is built into the display and can unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. This is a 12nm chip with two Cortex-A76 cores and a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. Also, a vapor chamber cooling system is attached to the chipset, which promises to keep it 3-5º cooler. The SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. As for the software, it runs HIOS 7.6 based on Android 11 OS.
