Xiaomi has Shipped Redmi Note 3 880,000 Units in Quarter 2 2016

Chinese company Xiaomi announced on Monday that it has debuted 1.75 million units of Redmi Note 3 in only five months.  The firm also mentioned a recent IDC report that states it had dispatched 880,000 smartphones in quarter 2 2016 via online channels. Xiaomi claims that it is almost double the volume of the next-highest shipped device in India during the same period.

Xiaomi citates Karthik J, Senior Market Analyst, Client Devices, IDC India states, "Redmi Note 3 was not only the top selling model in online channel but also a star product for the vendor contributing to the majority of Xiaomi's total shipments in Q2 2016." He also said that "Redmi Note 3 is the single highest-shipped smartphone ever in the history of India's online market in any given quarter."


The company entered in India in 2014 and it is making good sales by offering quality devices at reasonable rates. As for specification, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 features 5.5 inches IPS LCD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. The device is powered by Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 and clocked at Hexa-core (4x1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & 2x1.8 GHz Cortex-A72).  The device comes in two variants one has 16 GB memory with 2 GB RAM and the other one owns 32 GB native storage 3 GB RAM.


 

There is a 16MP rear camera on the backside of the device with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera on the backside of the device as well. The Redmi Note 3 features a Fingerprint and supports accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass sensors. A 4,000 mAh battery keeps the device up and it comes in Gray, Silver, and Gold color options.
