Xiaomi Mi Mix foldable smartphone confirmed to launch on March 29

Xiaomi is confirmed to launch more new smartphones in the Mi 11 lineup on March 29 in China. The company is expected to unveil two flagship devices - Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, and an affordable Mi 11 Lite phone at the event. The forthcoming Mi 11 Lite will come in 4G and 5G versions. Now, ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi has announced today that the much-awaited Mi Mix foldable smartphone will also be unveiled at the same March 29 event.

The confirmation by Xiaomi regarding this comes via a Weibo post, where the company has published a teaser image with the text that reads as “MIX COMING BACK.” As of now, Xiaomi has still not confirmed the official name of this upcoming Mi Mix smartphone. However, it is reported that this upcoming smartphone by Xiaomi will be the Mi Mix 4, which might be the first foldable device from the company.

In addition, the mysterious Mi Mix 4 also got listed on TENAA Certification with a model number “M2011J18C.” According to the TENAA listing, this device would be available in two variants: 12GB RAM + 512GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. Apart from this, nothing more is revealed.

According to the leaks and rumors, the Mi Mix is said to have a 7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with a 5,000mAh battery. It is also rumored to feature a triple camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor. Xiaomi Mi Mix is also expected to run MIUI 12.
