As scheduled, Xiaomi has officially launched its three new smartphones – Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 4G in China. The Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G are the first 5G devices in the brand’s Note series and succeed the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro, respectively. As expected, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is a rebranded variant of the Mi 10T Lite. The smartphone comes with a 108MP quad rear camera setup, Snapdragon 750G SoC, and 120Hz display. The Redmi Note 9 5G specs, on the other hand, include the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, 5,000mAh battery, and 48MP triple rear camera setup. The Redmi Note 9 4G is a 4G device (as the name suggests) and houses a 6,000 mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera. The phone is fueled by Snapdragon 750G SoC coupled with Adreno 619 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It runs MIUI 12 based on Android 10 OS. The device houses a triple rear camera setup that has a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth snapper. There is a 13MP sensor for selfie experience. The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery and runs Android 10-based MIUI 12.

In addition to the new 5G phones, Xiaomi also unveiled Redmi Note 9 4G smartphone. As the name suggests, the device supports 4G network, and comes with a waterdrop notch at the front panel. It has a rectangular-shaped triple camera setup at the back. The phone features a 6,000mAh battery and stereo speakers. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 662 SoC.
