HTC Unveiled One X9, Desire 825, Desire 630, Desire 530 at MWC 2016.

HTC unveiled three new devices such as One X9, HTC Desire 825, HTC Desire 630, and HTC Desire 530 at MWC 2016.  We were expecting to see official launch of HTC M10 at the event but the company enhanced its portfolio with these three devices. Let’s discuss all devices in brief.

HTC One X9

 HTC One X9 is a mid-range device which features a 5.5" Super LCD with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution (401ppi).  The Gorilla Glass and metal body add elegant in the device. It is powered by MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 (octa-core Cortex-A53). The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense UI. The HTC X9 has a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which can be enhanced via MicroSD card. The smartphone has a 13MP on the back with dual-LED flash, which can record 4K videos and a 5MP selfie with LED flash on front. A 3,000mAh (non-removable) battery is used to keep the lights on. HTC X9 will come in Carbon Gray, Cooper Rose, Opal Silver, and Topaz Gold color options. Europe, Middle East, and North Asia people would be able to buy the handset at the end of this month.


HTC Desire 825

After that the company added HTC Desire 825 in HTC Desire family. The handset features a 5.5" Super LCD with 1,280 x 720px resolution (267ppi) with an exclusive look. Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7) is used to power the device. The mobile has a 2GB RAM; 16GB storage plus microSD slot and it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense UI. HTC Desire 825 has a 13MP on with LED flash, a 5MP selfie snapper, and a 2,700mAh battery. The slim device will be available in Black and White color options.


HTC Desire 630 and HTC Desire 530

HTC Desire 630 and Desire 530 also came at MWC 2016. Both mid-range devices look identical whether they are slim and carry trendy design. Specifications of the device are also similar except few differences. Both phones come with a 5.0" Super LCD screen of 720p resolution. Measurement and weight of both devices is same such as 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.3mm and 140 grams. Internal memory of both is 16GB, which can be further expandable via MicroSD card slot.


The Desire 630 is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chipset with 2GB of RAM, whereas Desire 530 has a Snapdragon 210 chip with 1.5GB of RAM. Other difference is camera, HTC desire 630 has a 13MP camera, and Desire 530 has a 8MP camera. Front camera of both phones is same but Desire 530 cannot record 1080p videos.
