Meizu Zero Goes Offical With No Physical Button

Meizu unveiled a new smartphone the Meizu Zero, which is the world’s first phone having no physical button, no USB port or a cutout for the speaker. Meizu Zero is also the first to get 18W Wireless Charging support ever before. There is no accessory for weird charging. The PiezoElectric transducer technology under the display helps Meizu to remove speaker cutout. No USB port means you can share data via mobile connections and WiFi.

Meizu Zero comes with touch responsive sides as an alternative to the power and volume buttons. Like the HTC U12+, the Meizu Zero with squeezing sides helps you to navigate smartphone. You can experience the Under-Screen Fingerprint Sensor technology to solve biometric security.

There is a 5.99inches AMOLED Display, FHD+ resolution, and 18:9 aspect ratio. Meizu Zero is made of metal frame, rated with an IP68 certification to make it dust and waterproof up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Meizu smartphone uses e-SIM or electronic SIM to allow cellular connectivity. It runs the brand’s custom interface on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) OS. You can capture best-looking selfies with 20MP Front Camera of f/2.0 aperture, also getting HDR and FHD video calling capability. There are AI-powered Dual Rear Cameras of 12MP plus 20MP. The first one is a Sony IMX AI 350 lens which has an f/1.8 aperture whereas the secondary is a telephoto lens. The combo offers brilliant photography experience. It lets you create 2160p videos at 30fps.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, the Meizu Zero houses a 10nm Octa-core processor having up to 2.8GHz clock rate. The handset gets Adreno 630 GPU to provide excellent graphics for gaming. Meizu Zero launches in two memory options and the base model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage.

Meizu Zero unveiled in Black and White body colors. It will be available soon for purchase. The pricing details are not yet announced. But, we estimate the handset will cost you about $500.
