Huawei Mate X2 will have Kirin 9000 SoC and 50MP quad-camera setup

Huawei is expected to unveil the upcoming Mate X2 foldable phone next month. It will succeed the Huawei Mate XS device, which was announced in February last year. A few months ago, the next-gen Mate X2 was appeared in TENAA listings with model numbers TET-AN00 and TET-AN10. The listings suggest that the foldable phone will have a 120Hz refresh rate, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, OLED display, and dual-SIM slots. A reputable Chinese tipster (Digital Chat Station) has now shared some other important specifications of the Mate X2 on Chinese microblogging site Weibo.

As per the leak, the foldable phone is expected to have an 8.01-inch inward folding display (that can produce a resolution of 2480 x 220 pixels) along with a secondary 6.45-inch (2,270 x 1,160 pixels) display. The foldable phone is said to be powered by the Kirin 9000 Chipset and run on the Android 10 OS. As for dimensions, the Huawei Mate X2 will measure 161.8x14.8x8.2 mm and weigh about 295 grams. Huawei Mate X2 is tipped to come with a quad rear camera setup that will include a 50MP primary camera, a 16MP secondary camera, a 12MP sensor, and an 8MP sensor. The device is expected to have a 10x hybrid optical zoom. On the front panel, the Huawei Mate X2 will offer a 16MP selfie camera. The Huawei Mate X2 is said to come with a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
