Today on 28th May 2019, Xiaomi officially announced its Flagship killer the Redmi K20 Pro in Beijing, China. Redmi will come up for the first time with tiny pop-up front camera notch and bezel-less display. K20 Pro featured with identical 3D curved glass styled rear casing. K20 Pro has 6.39 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with 92% screen to body ratio at 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen also supports DC diming and eye comfort mode. The mega screen is integrated with 7th generation in-display fingerprint scanner. Despite all these same features, the K20 Pro is priced $400 only. The K20 Pro is unboxing with the Snapdragon 855 flagship chipset, 8GB RAM/256GB built-in storage and the MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS. The flagship phone comes up with 8-layers graphite sheet for heat protection and Game Turbo 2.0 support as well.
Xiaomi K20 pro has triple camera shell on the 3D curved back; 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.75 aperture, a 125-degree 13MP Ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The triple rear notches are welcomed with dual LED Dual-tone flash, AI scene recognition, night mode, and 960 Fps slow-Mo video recording. A 20MP single retractable front selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture, the flagship K20 Pro is packed with 4000mAh power pack with 27W fast charging support.
According to rumors, Redmi will launch K20 as well. Both smartphones have similar specs except chipset. K20 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with low price perspective.
Pricing of Xiaomi K20 and K20 Pro’s Variants
According to leaked sheet, Xiaomi K20 Pro has four variant with different pricing; 6GB RAM + 64GB storage for $362, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at $376, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage of $400, 8GB RAM + 256 GB storage for $435. Whereas, Redmi K20 has 2 variants, 6GB RAM + 64 GB storage of $289 and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for $304.
K20 Pro will be available for sale in China from 1st June, and K20 will be on 6th June in carbon black, flame red, and Glacier blue colors.
The official website of Xiaomi has 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant listed for the Redmi K20 Pro but no pricing available here.
