The Chinese phone maker CoolPad was announced a budget Smartphone CoolPad Cool 9 in June, and today the brand unveiled another budget smartphone known as CoolPad Cool 5 in Cool series. CooldPad Cool 5 has 6.22 inches IPS LCD with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio at 270 PPI density. Cool 5 is bigger than Cool 9 in display size. Cool 9 came with a 5.71 inches display for 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it powered by MediaTek Helio P22 constructed on 12nm Octa-core processor and paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB native storage and also support up to 128GB for expanding more memory option.

Android 9 Pie is pre-installed in this device, and the phone comes with Gradient Blue and Midnight Blue color options. The back-side of Cool 5 has a dual-camera mechanism which includes a 13-megapixel primary shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and fingerprint reader. The waterdrop notch has a 16MP sensor for selfie experience on the front panel, and the Smartphone arrives with 4,000 mAh massive battery capacity without fast charging.
