Google detached its Nexus line-up and introduced Pixel series; the latest Google Pixel and Pixel XL devices come with premium build, loads of power, and updated software. Pixel vs Pixel XL: Design and Display
The Pixel and Pixel XL are wrapped in metal and glass, both devices resemble and look attractive with even though their front and back bezels aren't as modish as a Samsung devices. The smartphones have two-tone finish matte metal finish and shiny glass on the back.
The standard variant Google Pixel packs a 5.0 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions. Its display is smaller than Pixel XL and there is a difference between resolutions of both devices as well.

Both smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 821 so we expect that both perform 10% better than previous chips. The Google Pixel and Pixel XL come with 4GB of RAM which makes the device faster; you can install and use multiple apps in the mobiles. When it comes to the internal storage, you'll have to stick with 32GB or 128GB native storage and it doesn't support a MicroSD card.

Google claims that Pixel and Pixel XL have the best camera ever, but don't let that trick you because there are already Android smartphones with 20MP rear cameras in the market. Both devices feature 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens which capture clear and vibrant pictures. The main camera is capable to record 4K videos and Google claims that device's video work flawlessly.
The camera offers some interesting features such as smart burst, video stabilization, and free unlimited space storage for videos and pictures. The smart burst feature lets users capture several pictures by holding the shutter button so you can pick one best out of them.
On the front side of the smartphones, there is an 8MP rear camera which is quite better than the 5MP front camera on other Android devices.
Google Pixel vs Google Pixel XL: Battery
Any smartphone and its high-end specifications are nothing without long life, so smartphones should have larger batteries according to their specifications. The Google Pixel XL won't face any issue and it is expected to last more than a day because it is powered by a 3,450 mAh battery.
While, the Google Pixel packs a 2,770 mAh battery which is quite smaller than Pixel XL's battery. Both smartphones support USB Type-C and according to the company the smartphones would be able to provide 7 hours battery life just after 15 minutes of charge.
Google Pixel XL's battery is supposed to be more efficient due to two reasons, first it runs Android Nougat and second it comes with Snapdragon 821. The latest Android OS consumes less power as compared to previous OS Marshmallow. The snapdragon 821 performs 10% better than its predecessor Snapdragon 820. It is power efficient and supports Quick charge 3.0 which charges 38% quickly than Quick charge 2.0, users can spend less time charging and use device for long hours.
Price and Release Date
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL were announced at an event in San Francisco September 4 alongside with Daydream VR headset, Chromecast Ultra with 4K HDR, Google Home, and Google Wifi. The Pixel 32GB will come with a $649 price tag, while the 128GB variant will be available for $749. The Pixel XL 32GB model will cost you $749, whereas the 128GB variant will cost $849. Both smartphones will actually release on October 20.
