HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G goes official with SDM 690 SoC and 5,000 mAh battery

HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G has been officially launched in Taiwan as a new mid-range smartphone from the brand. The device has a centered punch-hole on the front side and a quad rear camera setup. The key highlights of the phone include a 90Hz display, SDM Chip, a massive battery, and Android 10 OS.

The newly launched HTC Desire 21 Pro houses a 6.7-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a top-center positioned selfie camera hole. The handset draws power from the Snapdragon 690 5G mobile platform. The SoC is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A microSD card slot is available onboard for additional storage. The phone measures 167.1 x 78.1 x 9.4mm and it weighs 205 grams. As for the software, it runs on Android 10 operating system. The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

In terms of optics, the Desire 21 Pro 5G has a quad-camera setup that includes a 48MP main sensor, a 118-degree 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP front-facing camera. It has a 5,000mAh battery that carries support for up to 18W charging.
