As we reported in our previous news that the Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition is set to be launched on December 21. And now the time has come up and Huawei is introducing new Honor 9 Youth Edition which is also known as Honor 9 Lite. It is made of metal body. Measuring 151.0mm x 71.9mm x 7.6 mm dimensions and weighing in at 149 grams. The smartphone launched with a 5.65 inches IPS LCD display which has 18:9 aspect ratio so you are getting Full View display for watching and playing. The thin bezels are looking beautiful. Honor 9 Youth Edition gets 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution to spread more brightness on screen for sharper and vibrant pictures.
Besides it, the gadget has four optical sensors – dual photography cameras and dual selfie shooters. The rear-mounted lenses have 13MP + 2MP resolution, that’s the same resolution present on dual front cameras. LED flash is coupled with only back side optics. The Honor 9 Youth Edition can record excellent FHD videos as well as sharper selfies.
The device is running on Android OS 8.0 (Oreo) which is skinned with EMUI 8.0 overlay. As per the other specs, there is HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset which is equipped for mid-range devices to support heavy apps and games. It is supported with fast Octa core processor accompanied with Mali-T830 GPU to provide smooth performance and good graphics. The handset arrives in three variants – the first one has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, and the second one houses 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM, while the third one gets 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage. MicroSD slot is there too. Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition is backed by a non-removable 3000mAh Li-Po battery. Fingerprint sensor is set on rear for biometric security. Connectivity includes 3G, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM support, WiFi, NFC and microUSB. It is offered in Charm Sea Blue, Navy, Seagull Gray, Magic Nightfall and Pearl White color.
The Honor 9 Youth Edition or Honor 9 Lite will go on sale on December 26 in China. Outside countries will get this smartphone later. Huawei Honor 9 Youth Edition comes in three variants;
1 – 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage: 1199 Yuan ($185)
2 – 4GB RAM and 32GB Storage: 1499 Yuan ($230)
3 – 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage: 1799 Yuan ($275)
