As scheduled, Huawei has finally announced its new smartphones – Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro in China. Both smartphones come in colors like black, purple, green, and gradient white. Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro are now up for pre-orders in the home market and they are scheduled to go on sale on December 30. Alongside the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro, Huawei also unveiled the affordable Enjoy 20 SE smartphone and two laptops - MateBook D 14 2021 and MateBook D 15 2021. Huawei Enjoy 20 SE comes in Crush Green, Blush Gold, and Midnight Black colors and will go on sale on January 15th. On the other hand, both laptops will be available for purchase from 1st January 2021.
Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro
Huawei Nova 8 features a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and support for 10-bits color depth. The Nova 8 Pro, on the other hand, houses a 6.72-inches OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and similar support for 10-bits color depth. The Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro draw power from the 2.58GHz Kirin 985 chipset. Both phones run EMUI 11 based on Android 11 OS.

For selfie experience, the vanilla Huawei Nova 8 has a 32MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. On the other side, Huawei Nova 8 Pro has a dual selfie camera setup which includes a 32MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 16MP ultrawide shooter. The unique oval-shaped rear camera setups of the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro have a 64MP main camera (f/1.9 aperture on vanilla and f/1.8 aperture on Pro), an 8MP ultrawide lens with 120-degree FOV, a 2MP macro camera with 4cm focal length, and a 2MP depth sensor. Huawei Enjoy 20 SE
The Huawei Enjoy 20 SE flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) display with a notch at the top center. There is an 8MP front-facing camera for selfie experience. On the back panel, the Enjoy 20 SE has a 13MP triple-camera setup. Under the hood, it is powered by Kirin 710A SoC that is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Huawei Enjoy 20 SE packs a 5000 mAh with 22.5W fast charging support.
