Xiaomi CEO, Lin Bin has confirmed via Weibo they are working hard on mass production for 100W Super Turbo Charge to add support for upcoming Xiaomi smartphones including the Mi MIX 4. Oppo has achieved as much as 50W with its Super VOOC and Huawei and other mobile brands also get familiar grades of 50-60W, but the budget mobile-friendly brand plans to jump up to 100W Fast Charge technology. Earlier in Q1 2019, the Xiaomi has been successful in launching Mi 9 with 50W Fast Charge.

We don’t know how advanced cooling system Xiaomi will use to prevent heat up, because such a high rated charge could cause an increase in device temperature. But we can consider advantages too, how quick it would be to recharge device fully. Are 20 minutes enough to test a 100W Super Fast Turbo to fill up battery juice from 0% to 100%? We have to wait until the Mi MIX 4 launch, which is rumored to debut in Q3 2019.
The Mi MiX 3 5G Edition has launched at MWC19, as promised. Therefore, we suggest Mi Mix 4 to launch with 5G or at least a 5G version.
