Xiaomi finally introduced its new CC series smartphones – Mi CC9, CC9e, and CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. The Chic & Cool team focused on the look, selfie camera, and handset life. Some special pink ponk color editions also aimed at the female crowd to create more cash for Xiaomi.
The event took place in China, where the pre-orders will start on July 5, and the shipment will begin later, probably by the end of this month, July 2019. Xiaomi didn’t speak on when it will be available in other countries, but we hope soon (possibly next month).
Mi CC9
This is a standard phone with a balanced diet. The XIaomi CC9 comes up with a 6.39-inch AMOLED Display, which plays amazing Netflix streams. The handset boasts a 32MP Selfie Notch above the screen. The brand claims it to be the best selfie-centric phone in its class.
What’s new in CC (Camera & Click) smartphone? The answer is Mimoji. Yes! It is the ability of CC9 to let you create moving animated images of yourself. It is something what similar to Apple Memoji, Samsung AR Emoji, Huawei Qmoji and Opp Omoji - a feature under different monikers. The Chinese budget phone maker reported their Mimoji are unique and differ from other ones.
Mi CC9 wears dual side glass upon metal chassis. There is a no physical but more advanced Under-Display Fingerprint Scanner.
Something special for you CC9 brought is a 48MP (f/1.8) main photography lens, while total three. The other two are ultrawide 8MP and depth sensor 5MP.
Diving inside we found a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, that’s cool and responsive. Another biggest merit is a 4,030 mAh battery with Fast Charging support. The starting price of the Xiaomi CC9 is $260 (for 6GB/64GB). Therefore, we can state CC9 smartphones are a blessing for us at such a low price.
CC9e
One can be used to call it a more affordable version of standard CC9. The Xiaomi explained the CC9e shows Essential Edition of the standard device. All the specs of the handset are identical to CC9 except resized 6.0inches HD+ Display and downgraded SD665 processor. The base model of CC9e costs $190 (for 4GB/64GB). (Comment: Not a bad deal when you are getting the same 48MP main and 32MP selfie.)
Meitu Custom Edition
At last, Xiaomi got success to bring into work Meitu branding and technology, which it had acquired last year. The CC9 Meitu Edition has all the similar features as that of CC9, but it offers extra nifty camera features.
Targeting the Vloggers, CC9 Meitu acquired AI low light portrait, movie portrait, and full body beauty filters – unluckily absent in other siblings. It has a special Vlog mode with video stabilization. CC9 Meitu Edition goes up to 8GB RAM and 256GB while charging a user $380.
