iQOO Neo3 Design and display

The iQOO Neo3 comes with a punch-hole display on the front and a rectangular camera housing at the back. Note that the single punch-hole camera is situated on the top-right corner, instead of the usual top-left corner of the display. The rest of the design is similar to other 2020 flagships. The display is one of the biggest highlights of the iQOO Neo3. The smartphone sports a 6.57-inch FHD+ display. It comes with a 20:9 screen ratio, a high refresh rate of 144Hz, and supports both P3 color gamut and HDR10. At the same time, the touch response speed in large games can be increased by 49 percent.

The iQOO Neo 3 5G refresh rate is adaptive. It not only can be customized at 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz but also switch between them intelligently. It can automatically recognize the special scene and dynamically adjust between different refresh rates to meet fluency and power saving. This phone also uses side unlock. There is a 2.4mm two-in-one side button, which supports power switch and fingerprint unlock. The unlocking process takes only 0.16 seconds, bringing a more comfortable unlocking experience. There are two color variants of night black and sky blue.

Front and rear cameras

In terms of photography, the iQOO Neo3 arrives with a 48MP AI triple-camera setup at the back. In addition to the high-resolution 48MP primary sensor, the phone features an 8MP 112° ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. iQOO reveals that the phone supports Hyper-HDR which enables it to capture good quality photos in different lighting conditions. The front 16MP punch-hole selfie shooter supports portrait mode as well. The camera app is loaded with features like PDAF, digital zoom, night mode, scene recognition, and more. The primary 48MP camera sensor of the phone has f/1.8 aperture, 26mm (wide), 1/2.0", 0.8µm, and PDAF technology. iQOO Neo3 can record 4k and Full HD videos at 30fps. You can only shoot Full HD videos at 30fps by using a front-facing camera.

The iQOO Neo3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Compared with Snapdragon 855, CPU performance is increased by 25% and power consumption is reduced by 25%. In addition, the GPU performance is increased by 25% and power consumption is reduced by 35%. The phone also sports UFS 3.1 storage. Compared to the previous generation iQOO Neo 855 version with the UFS 3.0 storage, sequential read speed is increased by 16.1% and sequential write speed is increased by 37.4%. The phone also supports Multi-Turbo 3.0. It consists of “Central Core Acceleration Engine”, “AI Acceleration Engine”, “Network Acceleration Engine”, “Game Acceleration Engine”, “Cooling Acceleration Engine”, and “Compilation Enhanced Acceleration Engine”. It can quickly repair system problems, optimize the Wi-Fi and data network outages, and shorten the response speed of touch. As for software, the iQOO Neo3 runs the new iQOO UI based on Android 10. Apart from this, the 4500mAh battery can support 44W ultra-fast flash charging. In the laboratory environment, it can charge 50% in 20 minutes and 100% in 58 minutes. Besides this, the iQOO Neo 3 has the Maxwell antenna system. It includes a “multi-modal antenna”, “side distributed antenna”, “intelligent NR multi-antenna switching technology,” and “AOL signal enhancement technology”. Thanks to them, you will get a more stable data transmission experience. The iQOO Neo3 has a dual Wi-Fi network of 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz. It can accurately predict network scenarios and maintain a smooth and high-speed network experience. In comparison with Wi-Fi 5, the transmission rate of Wi-Fi 6 is 2.7 times higher, and the transmission performance is better by 25%. Furthermore, the iQOO Neo3 also arrives with Bluetooth HP, which supports Bluetooth High Power mode. It can support a transmission distance of up to 130 meters.
