Today (Oct 16), The Nokia 7.1 Plus has launched as Nokia X7 in an event in China. The highlighted features of this mid-range smartphone are 6.18in Pure Display, SD710 chipset and Zeiss Optics.
Either Nokia 7.1 Plus or Nokia X7 is an Android One smartphone, which runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo), it could be upgrade to Android 9.0 (Pie). The handset is made of 6000-series aluminum body, having 154.8 x 75.8 x 8 mm dimensions and 178 grams weight. It is protected with glass from sides, front and rear.
Nokia X7 sports 6.18 inches display with a higher 86% screen-to-body ratio. It uses IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 19:9 aspects ratio, FHD+ resolution, and 408 ppi density. The Smartphone supports DCI-P3 coverage, 500 nits of maximum brightness, 1,500:1 black and white contrast ratio, and 96% NTSC colors gamut. It is a Pure Display which can convert SDR video to HDR ones in Real Time mode.
The Nokia X7 comes with Dual Rear Zeiss Cameras, 12MP (f/1.8) + 13MP (f/2.4), the first is regular optical lens and the later one is a depth sensor. The standard Nokia X7 Price is CNY 1,700 which translates to $250. The 6/64GB model is priced at CNY 2,000 ($290) while the 6/128GB model costs CNY 2500 ($360). The Pre-orders are started now along with launch (from Oct 16); however, the shipment will start from China by the end of October 2018. Nokia X7 is expected to launch as Nokia 7.1 Plus in next week for the global market.
